Day 11 Monday Patty Dorsey Murphy Florence, Italy Nice mild We took a tour of Venice in the morning. Went all thru St. Marcos with a tour guide. Saw a glass display. Sat on St Mark's Square for lunch. Drove thru Appinnes Mts. Ate lunch in Bologna...on to Florence and the Auto Park Hotel. Quiet evening ...in room early. Tomorrow we tour Florence and off to Rome. Dianne Dorsey Parker Gilbreath Place: Venice & Florence (Auto Park Hotel) Weather: nice & sunny Left Venice early and rough night as took pill for constipation and spent the night in bathroom. Stopped in Bologna, Italy for lunch and went on to Florence. It is nice here and suppose to tour tomorrow. I feel better today. Italian people are not as friendly here as other parts of Europe. Day 10 Sunday Patricia Dorsey Murphy Venice, Italy cool, nice Driving through Innsbruck. Went inside Wilten Bascillica...Rococco style. Arrived in Venice. Hotel Triton..went on a gondola ride until 11 O'Clock..will tour Venice in the morning and be off for Florence later. Dianne Dorsey Parker Gilbreath Place: Venice, Italy Weather: cool - nice - Tritone Hotel Left Innsbruck early and crossed over to Italy in AM. Went thru the Dolomite Mtn range and was beautiful. People different here. Saw a man wetting on side of road in full view. Stopped for lunch in mountains. Arrived in Venice about 7:30 PM. After dinner went into Venice and rode gondolas. Rode with Pat, Karen, Mary & Patty. Sang and cut up - was fun. Drank wine - WOW! ... read more
