General information about where to go, where to stay, the cheapest way to get around.
Hello travelers 😊
My fiance and I are getting married in Sept of 2011. It has always been a dream of ours, since we were kids, to travel the world. I have done some traveling, but not as much as I would like. For our honeymoon we are wanting to go to Rome. We're new at this and any information anyone can give would help so much! If anyone has any suggestions on where to stay and the best way to book a flight and hotel, please let me know. Anything anyone can tell me, any tips, would help so much. We are on a very tight budget, so no where too expensive. After paying for the wedding on our own, we're going to be short on money.
Thanks so much!
Reply to this Hey Chrystal, Rome is my favourite city you will love it!
My fiancée & I are going to Italy next year for our honeymoon too, I always like to be as central as possible but you can't tell that by the name of a hotel. I usually go on google earth look at the sights I think I'll be spending the most amount of time & then click on the little symbols of beds (if you didn't know they are hotels). You can find a central & cheap hotel like that.
The horse & carts that ride around are certainly not cheap, read my Rome blog!
We walked around to every major sight so no need to use public transport if you're on a budget.
I don't know about flights I'm affraid, where are you flying from?
Reply to this Thanks 😊 Good luck with the wedding!
We're flying out from San Francisco.
How much do you normally spend while there?
