Day 41 to 45 (09/08 to 12/08) So I now have a theory, every place on earth that is just like heaven starts with the letter A, Australia, Annecy and Amalfi Coast and luckily I was able to spend 4 days in the latter. The bus ride to get to Amalfi was incredible but you really put your life in the hands of the bus driver. The road hugs the coastline, with many a sheer drop right into the ocean and so many blind corners and roads between buildings that are only wide enough for one car, but that doesn't stop the driver from driving as though he was on a highway! Olsun be … Allah herkesin rızkını verir... Viareggio girişinde, Nermin (GPS), geleneksel kazığını attı ve bu bize fazladan 14 +14 km ye mal oldu.. 14 ü gidiş 14 ü dönüş olmak üzere.. Geo: 44.1097, 9.81355 GÜN 22 Günlerden Perşembe Hava güneşli ve bizler keyifliyiz. 10:20 minibüsü ile istasyona indik Hemen gelen trenimize atlayıp La Spezia ya dönüyoruz. Bu kez dükkanlar açık, sokaklarda insanlar var. Ayşe'ye dünden gözüme kestirdiğim ayakkabıyı aldım. Oradan tekrar sahili bulduk ve dün peylediğimiz lokantaya vardık. Burası çok baba bir balıkçı lokantası. Barcelona daki La paradeta nın bir türlüsü. Yemekler hazır. Self servis ile istediğini alıp bir yerlere oturuyorsun. Yemekleri nefis ve biz oturduktan biraz sonra kapıda uzun kuyruklar oluştu.. Güneş altında bekleşiyorlar. Merak ediyorum bu numara İstanbul'da yürür mü ? Thursday 22nd October The Leaning Tower of Pisa and onwards to Lerici It absolutely bucketed down in the night and if we hadn’t been in a room upstairs we might have had to evacuate before we were carried away in the flood.Perhaps that was why everyone checked in here are in units upstairs.As it was there was a mysterious pool of water in the middle of the separate lounge/dining area with no obvious place as to where it had come from. The weather is clearing from the west which is a good sign and the forecast is for an improvement. After leaving Rome i arrive a few hours later in Florence for 2 nights. Florence is a beautiful city. There was no trying to look ancient or remain that way like Rome, it just was. I wish i had headed for Florence earlier instead of staying in Rome! But it is a romatic city and would be enjoyed more by two people. I regret I only had 2 nights there. So from Florence it was across to La Spezia which is 20 mins from Cinquee Terre. This part of the trip i was really looking forward to. In the past three days i have hiked almost over mountains and along tracks barely wide enought to place two feet together with almost sheer drops to the ocean below on one side and cliffs rising on the other. ... read more
