No thank you to Goa
We travel to see, to experience and to evaluate. We can't love every location. The tree house sounded interesting.

True
Yes, it is true. Sometimes it is difficult when you leave a place you love and arrive to a place which is OK, but not more. Maybe your judging is not right. But well, a travelblog is about feeling, isn't it.

cleaned up?
The air pollution in Mysore is still there. Not as bad as Bangalore, but still bad. But the surrounding villages are wonderful with the air.

Being touched by the Taj
We were speechless.....it was so much more magnificent than we expected. We went for both sunrise and sunset. One visit was not enough. We agree with your comment -- "The Taj Mahal is really beautiful. There are no words to describe the beauty and the detailed work. One must experience it.

Spiritual journey
Life is a pleasant journey. You just need to be open to experience.

Thanks
It is often overseen - but the entrance gates are nearly as impressive as the Taj!

Meditating on the Taj ;-)

Move over please
You really got the money shot with this one. But to think he wouldn't move an inch to the right...and you'd come all that way. What can you do under those circumstances? Grin and bear it I 'spose. No point in upsetting the swami!

Your blog is interesting!
Sir, I find your blog very interesting. Whenever I need review of a hotel in a city, I prefer reading blogs on Travelblog or else reviews on TripAdvisor. They help me do the homework.

A love story
Nina and Markus you make us want to hop the next plane and go hiking in Switzerland...but the good news is that it looks like we may make it to Switzerland in 2016 and we are excited! As you know Switzerland has been on our list for many, many years and looks like the dream will come true. We will start by tromping around in the graveyard where some of Dave's descendants are buried. Eager to see the pristine mountain tops and do some hiking. Thank you for all the notes you've given us over time and introducing us to just one more must see area.

New loves!
How wonderful to discover a new hiking valley, especially one so peaceful and scenic! I love those old stone houses with their slate roofs and the spring flowers and wild summer berries. Great views too, from the trail--so surprised and glad that you could cross a glacier in just your boots. Happy hiking!

Beautiful Croatia
What a lovely holiday in these beachfront towns, on ferries, and of course, meeting your guru! I love your photos of the ancient stone buildings and their alleys. Curious to see your new plans!

plans
Thanks, Tara. Yes, it was already the second time that we travelled to see our guru and it was always amazing. So we have planned some travels in November to India again (around Delhi, Vrindavan and south). And, if possible, we will meet our guru there again :-). Greetings from Switzerland!

A little island...
It sounds totally blissful! Maslinica was beautiful, AND they had good coffee...what more do you need in life? :)
8th July 2015

Yes it is. At least for the 5 days we were there :-).

Great post.
Hi Nina and Markus, I’ve always avoided pilgrimage places too, but I must mention that after reading your blog about Shravanbelogola I’m intrigued. As a parent I want to take my kids to places which offer entertainment, but this place looks like it can offer both culture and fun. Thank you for the info. Cheers!

Mumbai
Open minded is the only way to travel to India. I think we all have preconceived notions at least we did. As you say, there are some things you will love and some things you won't. The people were amazingly friendly. So many markets so little time. Keep safe, continue traveling, keep blogging.
