Love that pic of Murray in the grass! But you made me feel cold whilst reading the blog today!
25th June 2009

Look at you two, living like a couple of Poms in the countryside...doing your shopping at the market and going to garden parties at the vicarage! A lifestyle you could get used to??
25th June 2009

Yesss...another excellent shot of Murray :-) And *drool* at the mention of the steak and ale pie...you really are discovering all my old English faves this week!!

Murray...
Top work on the photo of Murray with his cuzzies....luv it :-)

M1
Go on - try the M1. It's a wonderful experience and people are quite courteous, even at speed. Gets you places quite quickly. It'll prepare you for Europe.

Sounds like you had a lovely day in York! You totally have to go back to do the Shambles though....narrow street with buildings on all sorts of odd angles and you can just imagine what it was like to live in England back in the day when you walk down it. And dont be scared of the M1...side roads are pretty and let you pass through quaint villages but the motorway lets you cover huge distance in a very short space of time. Just stick to the left lane!

Yummmmm....
My mouth is literally watering at that photo of your Yorkie.....the prime suspect in my big fat-fatness downfall while in the UK!!

Good to see the cousins
Great to see photos of the English cuzzies. Continuing to follow your travels as we are travelling too! Hope you have Bavaria on your travel list-its superb!

Yay for the sign of the funny place name! :-) Keep 'em comin....
20th June 2009

Thank goodness
Hi, glad to hear Eric seems to be better now - do you two have to make everything an adventure !! just loving seeing the photos - you both look very well indeed xx
18th June 2009

Photo of The Golden Lion please!! :-)
18th June 2009

Good to see you brave hanging over the edge of the castle to kiss the stone....it was pouring with rain the day we were there and we didn't fancy lying on the slippery stones hanging out over the edge! This cough that Mum has....she doesn't make a squealing sound upon coughing does she? Similar to a pig?!? ;-)
18th June 2009

What a great-looking pub...with a fantastic name! And it's never too early in the day for a Guinness...when you're in Ireland! :-)
18th June 2009

Buns in Ballybunnion
We needed a loo stop so went to a pub in Ballybunnion, had a coffee, muffins and met the barmaid from Taranaki. Did you get to Cahirsiveen? They love to dance, sing and drink even in the early afternoon.
18th June 2009

8 Euros!!
We got to the Cliffs of Moher late enough (early Oct) to see the sun set - about 7:00pm. Got back to the carpark and the attendant had gone (at about 5:30pm) so free parking. Still have the ticket so it's probably going to cost thousands if I take it back.
18th June 2009

Glad to see you enjoyed the Cliffs of Moher...it was incredibly windy the day we visited and I was convinced one of the idiots crossing the barrier was going to get blown off the edge. At least people like that make you feel smarter!! Did you happen to see the castle at Kinvarra?

Round-abouts
You want roundabouts - go to Milton Keynes.
16th June 2009

So did you manage to find oysters in Galway??

Yay for having a Guinness! :-)
16th June 2009

Love the photo of Murray. I challenge you to get photos of Murray with his cuzzies in as many countries as you can :-)
16th June 2009

You were brave to walk those streets! I made Brent keep the car running and I jumped out to hurriedly take photos of those murals! Streets with murals of dudes wearing balaclava's and pointing guns don't really make for that *safe* feeling!
16th June 2009

On behalf of both your daughters I would like to point out that your female soccer comment was rather sexist....and girls can do anything!

Yeah, the blog is back!
So pleased you made a trip to Argos.....we furnished almost our entire flat from Argos, including our bed! Love it!
16th June 2009

O My God
Well hello, to the travellers, I was getting a bit worried and lonely without the blogs. You went to an "Argos" holy cow.... Wonder what it stood for over there - certainly not what you and I know it to be Grahame. Great to hear you both alive and kicking and look forward to more entries. cheers Christine

jah,jah.
Yes this pickpocket thing happens everywhere. remember the first time that Cormac and Leigh came to Netherlands. Cormac had the same experience on New Years Eve in Amsterdam with simular trick. After it happens you know exactly how it happened.
