Traveling is for me the best way to clear my mind. Not that I am hiding from the "real" world, but it gives me a break from the everyday duties we all have. Ireland is my second home. I think there is no better place in the world. Last time I wrote a blog, I told you how much I wished we would have miss that flight to New York. Well, in Ireland we are again. We land in Dublin almost two weeks ago already. I decided in December that in March I would give couchsurfing a go. This is exactly what we are doing. Even though, I miss the freedom of being in a hostel and the chaos atmosphere, couchsurfing is amazing. What a great project! I should have tried it before. The people that ... read more

I start writing this blog at the gate of my connection taking me from NYC to Montreal. Two weeks later, I am still looking for my words. We are now in Canada for the next three months, before leaving again in February for another eight months. Going back home after half a year of visiting some of the best sights in the world, walking great trails, admiring some of the better view the world has to offer and meeting amazing people with very different background every day is really hard. Every day, I dream I have missed that flight and that in not too long, I will simple more Guinness. Apparently, all good things comes to an end. We spend the last month of what I now refer to as the part 1 of our trip, ... read more

Hey folks, I am writing this blog from Ireland again, sorry for the delay, finding Internet is not always easy. Two weeks ago, we experienced the biggest party on earth, visited wonderful castles, walked in the greatest city park and drank way too many of one of the best beers in the world. We spend six days in Munich. The first one was a day trip from Wien and what a day trip that was. We left Wien way earlier that I have never woke up in my life. I guess that if you tell your boyfriend to wake up to go to the biggest party on earth he might get up very fast. After five hours of train, we finally arrived in Munich. Saying that the festival took over the city is a very small ... read more

Hey folks! I am writing this blog from the middle of nowhere on the west coast of Ireland. We are still very late, but we should catch up in the next days. Wien was as it is described by most travellers, great Renaissance buildings, nice museum, great music and good beer. We slept four nights in Wien, but only spend three days there. On our second day we did a day trip to Munich for the Oktoberfest. I will talk about it in the next blog. In the train we met an American who was completely lost and we try to help him out by finding him a bed for the night in Wien. To give you an idea of how lost he was, he took the train to Wien only to discover that his plane ... read more

Hey folks, I know we are not giving you guys a lot of news lately. We have a lot of things to take care of and not so much time. We will write about our four night stay in Wien and the Oktoberfest soon. Before all this, we spend two nights in the very small Bratislava. Saying that it should be a day trip from Wien is true. It has nothing more to offer that you do not experiment in Prague and is very small. We were greeted with two small kids trying to kick us as soon as we made it to the hostel. Nice welcome! We then walk around city center and visit the Bratislava castle. We try to do a free tour of the city to see more, but the guide never show ... read more

Hey folks, To read Chloe, stroll down to the french part. I am very late in my blog entries. There is a lot going on right now and we are doing smaller countries. I am writing this entry from Wien where the temperature is not very nice. We spend three night in the amazing city of Budapest. A city that will serve your daily need of history, culture and relaxation. Our hostel was located next to the greatest open air market I have ever been in. They are using an old train station and you can find almost anything you wish for. The main floor is the usual food court. The top floor consist of small restaurant and a lot of souvenir kiosk. By the way, the souvenirs are way cheaper there that anywhere in the ... read more

Hey folks, This week we visited our third concentration camp and certainly the most famous and important one. Last year, we visited Dachau and earlier this year, KZ Sachsenhausen. I can already tell you that I will not visit any other concentration camp in the future. Visiting a sight like Auschwitz is not fun. Most of the time in life you try to do fun thing as much as you can, even more when you travel. However, it is right to say that visiting Auschwitz make things more real and makes a lot of people understand how horror and evilness have been a way to easy way out option in the world history. It is certainly right that you need to remember the worst moment in our history to not repeat them. Hopefully, anyone that has ... read more

Hey folks, We are now in Eastern Europe and I am very happy to be here. There is so much to see and the vibe is very different. I am writing this blog from Warsaw drinking a cheap Polish beer. In fact, everything is cheaper here and it used to be even more cheap. One thing is sure, the quality-value is excellent. If you like meeting people from different country (met journalists from Belarus yesterday), have cheap beer in great pub and learn about what happened in here over the years, you are at the right place. Most of the time when things are easy, they are more expensive. We decided to go the cheap way and by that, I mean the hard way. We flew to Prague using a good airline and not one of ... read more

Hey folks, The last two weeks were confusing to say the least. We spent a lot of time trying to get the working visa we have been trying to get the last three months. Our embassy made us lose a lot of time too and Chloe lost our pictures from Sevilla and Lagos. The Schengen free movement zone can be very confusing. In fact, the clerk at the Canadian Embassy in Lisbon did not even know how it works. She told us five different things and was of no help. After spending two days stressing for nothing. An official from back home sent me an e-mail that explain how things are really working. This is a resume of how things work: Schengen Area The member states of the European Union (EU) (not including Bulgaria, Cyprus, Ireland, ... read more

Je my suis beaucoup plu.
