Sandy, you certainly have a way with words. I think you should have been a writer. It sure was good to see you and Cory and reminisce about our past escapades which were all "For The Good Times". Have a good winter and I hope to see you guys soon. Love, Joe
Love Hot Dogs Loved the cruise stories, and it sounds like you , Cory and Lulu are having a wonderful time in the warm sun, in the mean time we are still digging out from the last storm which rendered us a little more than a foot of snow. It was so very beautiful, as all of the trees were cover with the heavy snow. Happy to be inside for the best part of the week. The flea market looked interesting but I remember all of the walking, couldn't do it today. Happy Trails.
Back at you Always good to get a note from you, Colleen. We are kind of in a holding pattern right now ...just hanging out wondering what to do next. Weather has warmed but rain is coming soon. Rats! Stay well and warm.
Cruise Day 5-Freeport Looks like you had a great time! Recognized Senor Frog's-we had lunch there last time we were @ Atlantis-took a little side trip. Glad you guys are back and missed the bad weather-Royal Carib had a BAD time!!!! Later D
Wow, BIG Surprise!!!! Just read your Universal Blog. Glad you got to try Cheddars, it's our new fave place too, hoped to take you there for the onion rings. Aren't they to-die-for? Mayb we can get back to Universal w/you on your last visit, during Mardi Gras... And what's this about a cruise tomorrow? Have a fantastic time, eat lots, drink more, win big and well see you when you get back.
About those 10,000 steps!! Sandy you will come home a size 2 if you keep up this pace. I also noticed that you and Lulu only had water to drink for dinner while the others had Tea?????I am so glad that we are having a good time on this trip and as always I am glad to be aboard. Happy Trails.
Never Thanks for your encouraging remarks, Colleen. The only size 2 I will ever see will be one eyebrow. Even my ring size is bigger. Actually, my water consists of extra lemon and a package of sweetener. I squeeze the lemons and turn it into lemonade....tastes just like the lemonade at the County Fair....works for me. Keep your fires burning.
Yeah, but YOU Brought The COLD!!!!!! Ok, so January 1st and before, we were enjoying mid 80-90 degree weather. Balmy evenings, warm soft breezes then the S--- hit the fan. In two days the temperature dropped nearly 20 degrees and we haven't seen them above the mid 60's since (except for maybe a day or two) AND we've had 4 Tornadoes in the past three weeks, one which we were in the outskirts of and less than an hour away from for two days, sitting in torrential rain, with no power for 4 hours and in a dark little hotel room, AND who do we have to thank for this cold spell??? STORM LU SANCOR!!!!!!!! Since all storms are named and this is year 3 that the our best friends the GUENTER'S have brought the cold weather with them, from close to our old stomping grounds in Upstate New York, we tried to include both Sandy's and Corey's names, but of course couldn't leave Miss LULU out, so this is the best we could come up with. We DO love you guys dearly, but enough is enough!! The longer you stay, the colder it gets. The next 2 nights are only going to be 39, with daytime high's in the 50's? What's up with that? Don't you want to see us? You know if we come to see you at Tropical Palms and sit outside now, I'll be a "Popsicle" in under 10 minutes. We've got places to take you, places to see, places to go, but we need warm weather. Maybe you need to start rubbing LULU's head and chant to the weather Goddess OR Corey's belly to start getting some sunshine and warm days, WE WANT TO SEE YOU. WE MISS YOU! All kidding aside, we're thrilled that you had a fairly uneventful trip down and are settled in. Glad too that you're keeping busy with other snowbird friends, who don't mind the cold as much and we promise we'll be over to see you very soon. We did wonder what happened to you this week, missed your blog, but glad you're ok.. Love ya MJ and Mike
Right You are onto something we think. Brrrrr.....still in winter jackets. Better here than where we came but would like it to warm a bit. Like the name you gave us. Miss you and eager to see you soon. Stay in touch.
Brrrr We had 41 degrees here this morning...cold for Florida. Went to big flea market today wearing winter coat, mittens and winter hat. Lulu had some good photo shots there. Not too much of her to get cold.
missing all of you! What a wonderful group of friends. Glad to see that everyone is well, especially Fran, and having a fun-filled winter at Tropical Palms. I miss all of you and hope to join you sometime soon. I know Jon is in very good hands, thanks to all of you for watching over him, although I'm not sure why you would want to after all of that abuse you have to deal with!!! I do miss the meals he prepares for me, listening to him read the news to me in the morning while I'm putting on my face for the day, his help with taking care of our "kitty kids" (ET & Obie are in depression), his beautiful wavy locks (which I wish he would grow longer), making sure my car is always full of gas (damn it's cold sometimes), running errands for me so I can get other things done, making me laugh sometimes when I least expect it, (not going to say what he does!) and of course, that sexy body!! Love to you all, have fun and enjoy life!!
Nice What a nice note you have written......Jon is so lucky to have you. He misses you and you miss him. Cory really liked the sincere comments you made as did the rest of us. Our thought are with you, Linda, as you comfort your mother.

We used to live in the Western part of NY, close to PA border. Have been married 59 years. We have four fabulous children (Lory, Kim, Cory, Tim). They have given us nine terrific grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. All families live in N.Y. We are retired...Cory was VP of Human Resources...Sandy was an R.N. We now live in our 2008 Phaeton RV full time and are loving it! In 2012 we lost our beloved dog, Chip - our chocolate lab. He was our dear traveling companion. He was almost 13 years old. His memory will travel with us wherever we go. We winter in Florida at Tropical Palms RV Park in ... full info
