Loved it! Really enjoyed the travel blog, I can hear those guys telling their stories. Good friends and great place to have grown up in. Thank you for sharing. Karen
Please meet our good friend.Cheryl Great story! I remember the Grotto-Les and I went once and believe we took a bottle as well-wonder if they still have any????
Thieves OMG.....we traveled the same route and did the same bad things. I'm sure your night didn't end like ours though...hopefully. I knew we shared things in common...who would have known?
Retirement?? The Auction looks like it would have been fun, I would have liked to have been there with you, what fun would that be. I love those old sleds, I have a smaller one that I use at Christmas. If I had gone, most likely I would have come home with three or more , wondering what and where and howI would use them. The estate sale was fun with some interesting items. I enjoyed it. Happy Trails.
Miss you, too Not a lot of things to do & see around here. You have so much around you. Hope all is well with Les & you. Miss you a lot. I put a video on Les's Facebook messenger about Dr. Miller.
Happy 4th to you.... Another great couple of days up "North", wouldn't miss them for a minute. Love seeing all the critters, Lori's house, love all her knick knacks and her gator. We'll treat you next time to the real Plant City Strawberry Shortcake, promise, know you love it. Looks like you had a great time doing everything and we enjoyed being right alongside both of you and LULU. Thanks for always including us. Mike had the cataract surgery 2 years ago, NO pain, went great, just goes back for checkups, has 20/30 vision now and after over 50 some years, since 9 th grade, doesn't need glasses anymore for up close. DON'T be afraid to do it, it's well worth it and look what you're going thru now, it's over in under 5 minutes. We're with you sweetie! Love you guys Mike and MJ
Thanks Thanks, MJ & Mike, for your reassuring words. I'll kept them with me. Glad you came along with us on these few adventures. We would miss you if you were't there. How's the weather? Toasty? We have had Florida weather. Loving it and love you both!

Dear Friends, I have been thinking of you and the warmth of you both. This is the first chance to write. I am so glad to tell you that we bought a little 'farm' with 3 acres, a barn, a garage and a house that Les has knocked walls down - we hope our dear contractor will come next week, to begin with foundation work, then an addition with a new guest room for you! I am outside doing landscaping with my wonderful mattock, a favorite tool! So much love to you both, Sue
Hi Sue So wonderful to hear from you, Sue. We think of you both often. Terrific that you have found a new place to call home. Good luck with your projects. We still need to head your way one of these days. Is your phone # still the same. Miss you and love you, Sweet Sue! Sandy & Cory

So glad you're safely home! Hey guys, so glad you're home and made it without too much trouble. I feel terrible that you were sick the last week you were here and even more terrible that we didn't get to see you a coupe of more times before you left. Time went so fast and we had unexpected house guests again, good ones this time, then our daughter decided to take on this huge project that has taken all of our time and most of our energy for the past 3 weeks, with 2 new friends, they're making POKER TABLE TOPS! Yep you heard me right. She straps on the tool belt, gets out the drill, the sander and her and Steve do the cutting and measuring, till they got the 1st template. Now it's much easier and faster. Then her and I cut out the material for the table cover center and vinyl edging and padding. Then we lay everything on the kitchen floor, measure, cut, stretch, staple it to the wood while Nikki and Mike Varnish the inside rail twice then polyurethane it when it's all dry. Then when our pieces are done and their pieces are done, Stacy finishes screwing everything together and connecting everything, putting in the cup holders and poker chip tray and wala, one very nice Poker Table Top. Two days and were popping them out like a fine oiled assembly line now. We're beat and my house is a total disaster, it hasn't seen a vacuum in days, there're boxes and foam and pieces of measured vinyl in almost every room and even my garage didn't get spared, but they're doing a beautiful job. They've got 4 restaurants that are using 3 of their tables already in just a week, 4 more lined up and 5 in the wings. I don't know if I can keep up, no REALLY! Mike and I are TOO old for this . Then I got 3 blockages the same week you got sick, that's a new one for me, no idea why that happened. But anyway, we loved seeing you two again, next year we'll definitely try to see you more, as the weather warms. It's 89 today and going to be in the mid to high 90's the rest of the week! A scorcher for April....bet you're glad to be home w family and backyard critters, they prob missed you too. I read all your blogs, please know that, even tho I don't respond that often, I still chuckle every day and spend every cheerful minute w you both and enjoy them all immensely.. Love You Guys
WOW We are sorry we weren't able to get together one last time...but there's next year. No grass growing under. your feet. Good luck with the poker table top business. Stay well & stay in touch.
We used to live in the Western part of NY, close to PA border. Have been married 59 years. We have four fabulous children (Lory, Kim, Cory, Tim). They have given us nine terrific grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. All families live in N.Y. We are retired...Cory was VP of Human Resources...Sandy was an R.N. We now live in our 2008 Phaeton RV full time and are loving it! In 2012 we lost our beloved dog, Chip - our chocolate lab. He was our dear traveling companion. He was almost 13 years old. His memory will travel with us wherever we go. We winter in Florida at Tropical Palms RV Park in ... full info
