Geo: 44.4475, -110.811We got to Old Faithful about 1:30 p.m. According to a clock inside the lodge, we had about an hour to wait. So we had lunch at the lodge's cafeteria. What an expensive meal it was! Naomi and I both paid about $18 for each of our meals. The meals, which wasn't the greatest, should have been under $10. We then headed outside to stake a place in the shade along the side of the building while we waited for the 2:40 eruption. While it did erupt, it was about 20 minutes late. We oohed and aahed along with about 1,000 other people. Then we went to look around the gift shop and we both picked up a few trinkets. We then headed out into the park again.
