Travel asia Really, it is a great place to spend some valuable time with our beloved one.The silence beauty of this place will itself express the romantic thought for anyone...
The secrets of how you blog from such ridiculous amazing places finally revealed! Thanks for the tip about Starwood. We've got a card (ha - somewhere!) but never really use it. I play the airline miles game all the time flying across the country, but never really considered the perks for hotels. That's about to change!
Love I enjoyed every moment of it!!! I love you and love Venice as well! :D
Lili! This guy is amazing to make good deals in an impressive way! He should teach it... ;) I'm in love!

Ljubljana....I didn't know the Slovenian Capital was such a hidden jewel! We thought the same when we visited there in June 2009. We really enjoyed our visit there, in fact we loved everything we saw in Slovenia. Have fun.

Hi Wow, this is a comment. You are going to laugh, but leaving in Asia, the only french wines we are drinking are sauternes and champagne. For Pinot noir we main;ly stick to Malborough (NZ), or Yarra Valley (Australia), for Shiraz it barossa and Adelaide Hills in Australia too...plus a lot of Chilean and Argentinan different varietals. Great to know that Andras is in the wine industry...in summer 2011...we have stops planed in Central California, Oregon and Washington....really waiting to meet you guys...and try some great wines! Had a bottle of croatian local wine tonight...well....they could improve a lot!
Hungarian Wine We only recently learned that a Hungarian wine region existed (we'd only heard of slivovtiz) and Andras is in the wine industry so it must not be promoted like France, Argentina, Australia, California, etc. Glad to hear that some of the ones you tried were good! The only Hungarian varietal I know is Agria - its very fruity, like a Syrah but not as complex. Not sure if it would stand up to your palate if you prefer the French styled wine, though.
I will say though, if you want good Pinot Noir you should try wines from the Willamette Valley, Oregon. It's such a tricky grape to get the climate just right - but I don't know how international their distribution is. Happy travels!
This blog is just short of 10 years old. We have now move to South Africa.
Why South Africa? Simple, great wine, great food, great golf and even more amazing diving! I will for once continue to blog from time to time about home. After all, this is just my fourth continent after having grow up in Europe, lived in Asia for twenty years, and even spent a full year living the life of Buenos Aires.
Come to visit....there is so much to do here! ... full info
