OMG!!!! I've always wanted to go to Easter Island, ever since I can remember (that and Macchu Picchu have been in my mind since childhood) but I never thought about diving there: it looks sooooo amazing with the statues underwater! It's definitely on my wish list now, which, by the way, it's growing quickly since I started reading your blogs! Deni
aaaaaaaaaaaa hola Peter! have to tell u that I am seriously thinking about unsubscribing - the two of you are just teasing me lately with these pics&diving :D :D :D When exactly are u coming to my little Slovenia? saludos a los dos, jana
over and under.........you go! Over the mountains, under the water...........hi there Mr. Adventurer. Your "apprentice" Mari seems to be doing real well with the diving, and now skiing lessons. Way to go, you two! Celebrate life --- and share ur adventures with us via blogs. Cheers!
you made it was wondering when you'd post an entry for here! we loved it, went there about 10 years ago for millenium new year! and then again a few years back. glad to hear it is still as cold as ever and that you had fun taking the obligatory pics on the salt dessert - especially the one with the boot!
Such an beautiful place Love it! This place is just so awesome it's hard to describe to people just how amazing a place it is, so glad you had a great time. It looks like the tour you did was the same as the one we did! We've never been as cold anywhere else as we were there.. getting up so early on that 3rd day is terrible.. I couldn't feel my hands for hours! Amazing photos of an amazing place
bienvenido! Peter, I'm glad you enjoyed my country... and what a moment to be there, when they are so exited to be in quarter finals... I'm a bit divided on the next game, as I'm Spanish, but Dax is German... it's too bad we won't be able to watch it together, as he's back home!
I hope you enjoy S.A... I'm looking forward to your blogs, and I assume I can count on some diving as well?

Have fun! Hope you have lots of fun in paradise and the diving is good! Looking forward to reading your South America blogs, will bring back some memories for us. Great pics of Madrid...once you have been away from Europe for a while you really appreciate the grand European architecture. Safe travels Donna and Neil x
wow again and again! Peter, you sure know how to enjoy life!. We saw sharks when we were in Sipadan and it was amazing, but I think this experience you had here would have been a bit too much for me... scary!!!!. I love your blogs and I'm looking forward to the next! Deni
I surely would have died of fright had I been there! I would also not be taking pictures from fear of getting attacked any moment. Kudos to what you managed to do!
Thanks a lot for all your comments... Hi everybody, thanks a lot for all these great comments. Next dive is in 3 weeks, in another slightly remote place. August will also see our first dive in Europe, may not be as exiting! Can't wait the summer holidays coming in a few days! Love!
sweet Firstly- i am so jealous of you. Im a diver as well and cannot wait to dive around durban. Any other dive spot suggestions ?
Secondly- nice shots, very impressive ! Keep iy up! Love divers...
WOW I'd never get the nerve [and the funds ;-)] to do what you do, Peter. I can only live and experience all these adventures vicariously as an armchair traveler reading your wonderful blogs.
I'd keep saying "safe travels" even if you don't pay heed to caution. But honestly my friend, you have a great lifestyle! C'est la vie!
Hi Ali! Thanks for your comment. Thanks a lot to send Ma'ri the edited pic of the devil's rays. Look great1 You are right, beside trimming a bit, I don't edit my pics at all....what you get is actually what i saw...well...what i saw is actually better. I know that I could photoshop a lot of my pics and they would look way better...but at the same time, it is kind of nice to see what you get...is the result of a basic camera...and no photoshop at all...
next diving in 3 weeks...guess it will not be that impressive. Seems we'll be able to organise a solid Christmas drink in KL this year as few serious bloggers are moving there....you know I guess who I speak about...
Shark Diving without the Cage :) Fantastic! - no Tommy Sharks? - your photos with a little post processing would be absolutely stunning! as is - still WOW :)
What a lot of sharks! Wow, what fab pics of all those sharks. With your description of how the sharks come up to check you out from below, we probably would have chickened out and swam away! Looks like you had a fab time diving there in SA but bet you are glad to be home with family! Hope you are all well, Donna and Neil x
This blog is just short of 10 years old. We have now move to South Africa.
Why South Africa? Simple, great wine, great food, great golf and even more amazing diving! I will for once continue to blog from time to time about home. After all, this is just my fourth continent after having grow up in Europe, lived in Asia for twenty years, and even spent a full year living the life of Buenos Aires.
Come to visit....there is so much to do here! ... full info
