The Pura Vida Experience

a trip by MaRen
From: March 21st 2017
Until: April 11th 2017

For our annual trip, my sister, Renata, and I usually look for the best vacation deals. However, when McMaster University had a volunteer alumni trip to Costa Rica, we had to check it out. We previously volunteered in Tanzania and had an incredible experience. Volunteering is a great way to meet the local people and experience their culture. In Tanzania, we volunteered on a Medical Mission. In Costa Rica, we volunteered for a week in environmental conservation at the Santa Elena Reserve in Monteverde. In addition, Renata and I spent a couple of days in Tortuguero, La Fortuna, and Manuel Antonio. The total length of our trip is 3 weeks. Here is our story….
