Growing up with scenery like this all around me and animals like bears and coyotes in our back yard, it all seems so boring. It's very cool to see someone from South East Asia coming and enjoying the topography in this part of the world as much as we enjoy visiting the tropics. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

whats this? what do they taste like?

radish
hiya, i dont think people normally cook radish...it is nearly like a red onion and peppery to add some flavor to a cold salad. to taste just slice a small amount and have a small bite. Sometimes people have them in a salad with tomatoe, cucumber, lettuce and cut into quarters... nothing cooked :)

Foods
Hiya, I am loving reading your blogs and your view on everything. The red vegetable is a radish which is sort of similar to onion. You often have it sliced thinly in salad. The orange things are a variety of cherry tomatoes. So just a small tomotoe :) Tam

Nice!
I would agree with you on Vancouver having very great conditions to live in. Yung parang feeling na makahanap ka lang dyan ng trabaho kahit minimum wage lang, parang mabubuhay ka na nang maayos. Ang ganda pa ng tanawin. Hehehe. Have you tried going to the English Bay? There's a street there, I forgot the name, but it has cheap restaurants. Anyway, are you there for work or bakasyon lang?

Bites of BC
Enjoyed your blog, I’m a native Lower Mainlander and have been travel blogging forever, but have never blogged from my own home. Very fun to hear you point out the bits that i would point out while travelling myself. Have a great time, sorry it’s raining :( Cheers!

The biggest one seem territorial

The big one is called a Canada Goose. They are annoying...and will bite you if you get to close.

I absolutely loved your take on my province in Canada. Chilly, but the vegetables are crisp! lol! Did you enjoy the snow? Looking forward to reading more.

Canada is so lovely
Fantastic seeing Canada from your perspective. It is an amazing country. I'm not surprised to hear the prices are shocking to you. Dress warm, enjoy the people and the fast internet.

Opinion on the hotel
Hi. Was wondering whether Rambler Garden is nice? Booked for HK on July 7-10, 2014, and I have a two-year old with me. What travel agency did you book as I am still thinking of whether we could just go on a DIY or avail of tour packages?

it was good
i booked thru florence travel and tours. buying a package tour would save you a lot of time. but it depends on your preference. but you have a two year old so i think its best to buy a package tour. so you wont have to worry about transpo

A fondness for the Philippinies
We fell in love with the Philippines last year when we traveled there. The people are kind, the food is good and there is so much to see. Looks like you had a great time. Liked the collision photo.
