Documents? I just want to ask what are documents you submitted to the Embassy? Were you single when you went to US? Or did they ask you with CENOMAR or certificate of no marriage?
US Visa It's going to be my first time to visit any country. I still have a fear to get denied since it's going to be my first time to go out of the country. Thanks!!
Thanks for the reminders Hi,
Thanks for sharing your Tokyo story with us. We were in Tokyo last year and had a really good time there. Your blog entry brought back some memories.

U.S. Tourist visa Great article! Thank you. I have a question, I'm scheduled for an interview on the first of September. on my application I have stated that my boyfriend will be sponsoring my holiday. I am single, has a good travel history. UK, Belgium, France, North America and most of Asia. This will be my first time to apply for U.S. visa. I've read in some other posts about applications getting denied because of having a boyfriend/fiancée from there. What are the chances of having the visa granted or denied?
hi Kay I've read that about 30% of applicants get rejected. If you have good travel history, a steady job, and travel plans. I don't see why you can get denied. Good luck!
US visa Hi! do you think that they have a quota of people to be approved per day?
coz i am thinking that maybe if they think that they have approved enough people per day.. the rest of the applicants might get denied of visa on the later scheduled hours?
Bears I would have loved to see them in person (from afar) but they were still hybernating as it was early spring. I don't think there's any place with more bears than Canada
Your airbnb Sorry your Seattle experience included that host! Your description of it was hilarious, although I felt bad laughing at what I'm sure was a less-than-ideal situation. If you like tulips you should try to get back to Seattle in April one year and head to the Skagit Valley tulip festival.
Tulips and airbnb I was planning to go to skagit valley for the tulip fields but couldn't find a way to get there. Oh well i have a 10 year visa anyway. And yeah. Airbnb sucks!
My last day before going home I am surprised you failed the English Writing Proficiency Test in Canada as your blog writing is clear and full of interesting thoughts, observations and best of all expresses so well how you feel. What a wonderful adventure you have had in North America. Best wishes for the next stage of your life.
English Writing Thanks! But apparently they needed more than my simple sentence structures. When I took it the second time I had to use complex sentence structures that included semi colons, parenthesis, etc, and write in third person to appear more academic. That's according to the reviewer that I read and it proved to be true when I got the result. Cheers!
Hi! Great blog! :) Just a question.. Do you think it would be advisable to get a visa months before the intended travel dates? I wanna try getting a visa as early as now.. however.. I might travel by mid-next year pa. Do you think that's okay? Or, too early?
Congrats on fulfilling a dream! Wow, you really got to do and see a lot in our giant, amazing state, though it is a bit tricky knowing where to go (San Fran)! I agree with you that San Francisco and Vancouver are a couple of grand cities--how wonderful you got to visit them.
I've always meant to save money, buy cars, properties, raise a family, etc. But the world is too big and beautiful, and it calls me to explore! Until then, the usual go-to-work-pay-bills-then-die type of life will have to wait. Follow me on Instagram @HaroldBernal... full info
