Geo: 47.6353, -122.302Vacation Day 2 Sunday Sept 18 2011 Last night was another night of not-so-great sleep. I remember staring at the clock at 1:17am and again sometime just after 3:00 am. Unfortunately, the alarm did not go off at 4:30 as scheduled. Luckily, I woke-up at 4:47 am and jumped out of bed and so did hubby. He jumped in the shower and I went to blow-dry my still-wet hair from my shower the prior evening. We were dressed, all-dolled-up, and out the door in decent time. Driving on I-270 and I-70 at 5:30 in the morning is a lot easier than during regular daytime traffic hours. Thank goodness. Geo: 37.209, -93.2916Orlando Overview ~ I give it a "C" for adult vacationers!We liked Orlando. We have both been to Florida before and of course we love Florida. I would be interested in retiring there in about 20 years ~ one can dream, right?? We loved the weather in Orlando in May. I will highlight the good and the bad but overall, we have decided to not travel to Orlando again. This was our least favorite vacation so far. I apologized to hubby on several occasions, even while we were there, for picking such a destination without thinking it through. Geo: 28.5377, -81.3774May 13, 2010Today was going to be Theme Park Day #2. Thank God we decided it was not worth it! After having spent the day at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure we had already ruled-out another day at Universal Studios... we considered SeaWorld as it had come highly recommended by several of our short-term British friends we met on this trip... hubby even wanted to consider Aquatica ~ despite the fact that our hotel has three large pools, a jacuzzi, an amazing water slide, and a lazy river that can probably stand-up to most water parks.
