Carnival Triumph from Galveston, Texas

We needed a Spring Getaway so.... We booked a last-minute (literally) 5-night cruise out of Galveston this month. We drove ~ yes~ DROVE ~ from Missouri to Galveston Island and embarked upon the Carnival Triumph cruise ship for a week. We had a short but refreshing cruise and a good vacation... but we will NEVER drive that far for vacation again!! Come to find out... airports aren't so bad after all!!
