I have experienced a lot of ¨firsts¨here in Chile. My first empanada and pisco sour (read one of my first blogs to learn about that), my first experience commuting daily by bus or taxi, my first time without heat (central or a heater! brrrr....), life without Hot Tomales (the candy) or York Peppermint Patties. tear. tear. My first serios ¨adult¨relationship/boyfriend. Lots of fun things! However, I forget that Carlos, my lovely latin lover, is experiencing a lot of firsts too. His first gringa girlfriend, fajitas and american food, and last Saturday, his first time bowling. We had a blast. But the process is a bit different here.
