The ferry trip from the mainland

A huge ferry takes the visitors to Chiloe. The trip lasts about 30 mins and on a good day is beautiful. Our return trip was in the middle of a strong, windy day. I opted to stay into the bus but Carlos was outside on the railing. The wind was so strong it was tossing our ferry back and forth, a good 50-60 degrees verticle and waves were splashing over the sides of the big boat. Carlos saw his life flash before his eyes and was terrified. He knew it was bad when he saw the boat workers and the captain looking panicked! Always a bad sign. I was inside the bus listening to my ipod and was almost oblivious to how intense it was!
