I think that the government should be responsible for abiding with the commitment that the predecessor's made because the Native Americans did not want any trouble and they were the first on the land. Although it has been a while, the government promised the Native Americans their freedom and they were relying on that promise. If the government said that they were going to do something, then they should keep their word. The native American wanted to hunt, a tradition of theirs, on their homeland. By taking some of their land the government is reducing the amount of things they can have on their land now. They were kind enough to share the space and not cause a lot of trouble, so at the very least the government should give the Native Americans what the rightfully
