Ok, Saturday has come and gone, and it is now Sunday evening. I am feeling 100% better after getting about 14 hours of sleep on Friday night and about 10 hours last night...... The weekend was a mellow weekend, but fun just the same. On Saturday, as I was not feeling well, I had the driver take me to MG road to a store called the Bombay Store. yes, the driver did actually show up today at the scheduled time. At the Bombay store, I first went to the coffee shop and had a couple of lates and some breakfast (although it was 3PM). The new British Air flight from Los Angeles to Bangalore is probably the best I have ever flown to India. With a total transit time of 21 hours with only a 2 hour stop in London's Heathrow, the flight went very well. It's interesting but painful to experience the down sizing of the seating space from London to Bangalore compared to LAX to London. My knees were wedged into the seat in front of me for the leg to India beause either I grew by three inches or the airline took 3+ inches out of the space between seats! So welcome to India. The Bangalore international luggage terminal is a room big enough to hold one 30 foot long luggage carousel and about 100 people. Today additional difficulties with the driver sitation....again they did not show up to pick me up...again i had words with the service....was late for work. Not much to report today...not feeling great, kind of tired...was woken up at about 7AM by construction..had a hard time getting back to sleep...had maybe 4 hours total... read more

1:15 a.m. Bangalore. We are sitting in the Airport in Bangalore. There is a HOT German guy sitting not even 5 feet from me. He does not notice but I have been checking him out. He was on his phone earlier and now he is just sitting reading a novel. Diane is in to her crossword puzzle. I have had such a great time here I almost hate to leave. All the guys at work were so great and made leaving really hard. Diane and I stopped in to the Leela one last time before heading to the Airport. It never occured to us how close our flat was to the aiport cause it took Suresh like ten minutes to get us here. We are sitting waiting patiently for our flight. I am kind of hungry ... read more
