Well, after months of preparation, stress, planning and more planning, we finally set off on our long-awaited (and long!) honeymoon on October 25th. After some emotional (and alcoholic) goodbyes over the previous few weeks, we set off for Hong Kong. After a smooth overnight flight, we landed the following morning and transferred to our hotel in Kowloon. The Eaton was a lovely hotel to start our trip - smart and elegant, close to everything but slightly removed from the action, and overall a perfect base from which to explore - good work Finbarr! Hong Kong itself turned out to be a fascinating introduction to the Far East and a good mix of east and west.
