So I decided to finally start a blog. There are few reasons for that: first of all, everything I see around me I constantly want to record somewhere in the notebook or a piece of paper, but I realize that it won't work with me cause I have a tendency to through away everything without thinking. The online blog is perfect for me in this case.Second of all, oh my God! in these 52 days so many things happened so I feel like I HAVE TO put it somewhere so I can read it later and remember, laugh, cry and etc - a great way to go back to the most brightest moments in my life. Last but not least I want you guys to just enjoy the stories from my usual life, work and so ... read more

Mijn filmkennis delen met ... read more

Men bra partystad iaf.

Everyone had got a pretty good sleep, but I wanted everyone to get up and enjoy my last day of being 29. We went downstairs and had breakfast at a restaurant called Maxine that was also attached to our hotel. Before getting down there though, there must have been a huge storm (that we had somehow missed) as the roads were all flooded; just another Florida downpour. At Maxine's I had a giant chicken and bacon sandwich which came with chips, Nick got a burger and Marnee got Bacon and eggs; all the meals were huge. From there we went for a walk in search of South Beach. We found it and it was beautiful. Huge area of white sand and lovely cool water to swim in. We sunbaked, explored and swam for hours. We headed ... read more

We woke up pretty early today as we had a bus to catch. Nick finished packing while Marnee and I headed down to breakfast. Marnee had Mickey waffles to finish off what had been a wonderful adventure with Disney over the last few days. We got our pre-organised cab with Lily and she dropped us off in Downtown Orlando. Where she dropped us looked like a dodgy car park but that’s where we were meeting the low budget bus company called MegaBus. Marnee and I sat with the bags while Nick went and got a few things from a 7 Eleven (he wasn’t feeling the best from the previous night’s adventures at Dick’s). Our double decker MegaBus bus to Miami eventually arrived (which had cost us only $10.50 for all three of us) and it even ... read more

I successfully made it to Vegas, as I’d been there before I mainly went for the magic shows. I saw four, my favourites were David Copperfield and Penn and Teller. Last time I was there I was unable to see them so I was really happy I got to go. Copperfield is by far the best magician I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately I got a bad virus so I didn’t make it to Washington or New York, which I was quite disappointed about. So after an extended stay I finally made it to Miami. I was lucky enough to be there on the 4th of July (Independence day), in New Zealand we have one public fireworks display for big days they had about 4 all along the coast, wherever you looked there were big public displays which ... read more

"Because I will recklessly abandon all insecurities and expose my true self to the world. I will become immune to the impact of your opinion and stand naked in a crowd of ideas; comfortable in knowing that while you married the mundane I explored the exceptional." Today the trip came to an end. But before we called it done, we had a few stops to make. So up and ready before 8am, we said goodbye to Key Largo headed north and continued up US 1, leaving the FL keys. We stopped in Homestead for breakfast and took a slight detour to visit Biscayne National Park. It is located only 8 miles from Homestead, so of course we had to visit - it is a national park after all. I knew before deciding to stop there that we would not really see all that much. But I couldn't be that close to a national park and not try to see what I could. We arrived at the visitor center and viewed the displays inside. It is located on the water, so we walked ... read more

Geo: 25.729, -80.2374While we are excited to see the ones we love, we really do wish we could see you all down on the beach. I started the day with a nice view of the sunrise between the palm trees, followed by a nice cup of local java while Alex got those last precious minutes of sleep before I woke him up. We had a 6:30 am water taxi to catch, and while the flight is only 2 hours from Belize City, a full day of travel ahead. Today, if all go as planned, we will have completed many modes of transportation, including, Water Taxi, regular Taxi, airplane, bus, and SUV. Not to mention walking with our backpacks. So again we were on the move. Everything went smooth, without much to mention except Alex up to ... read more
