Hi guys,

I'm going to be passing through Vietnam and Thailand this december and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to do diving for a day. I'm don't have any qualifcations so it would have to be somthing organised.

Cheers in advance folks.

Koh Tao - Ban's is a great dive outfitter. Reply to this

Good luck, Vietnam is very average...and the last time I heard about Cambodia...operations where considered as a little risky.

But for a try dive, Nha trang is your best option as there are many other things to do there...and it's really cheap compare to other places in Asia.

Have fun!

hey,

tao is so much awesome fun, you have to go there! it's a perfect place to step up a level on your divers license. then I really recommend going to phuket and travel with a boat to the similans, then you live on the boat and dive 3 -4 every day. it's the best.

Phil is right about Similan...get your padi open water...take less than 3 days....than jump on a liveaboard for 4 days...but be warned...once you've done that, you'll become a dive addict....some addictions are great! Reply to this
