A friend and I are going to South East Asia for 8 weeks next February. The plan is land in Singapore move north through Malaysia to Thailand (Where we plan on spending 3-4 weeks) but we also want to go to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Any ideas of things to see activities to do etc would be really appreciated. We were also wondering if it is economical to fly from country to country and whether tours were a good idea for every country. Like I said any advice would be appreciated.

Reply to this See you have not mentioned Indonesia in your plans- what a shame- it is the gem of South East Asia and most travellers do not even consider going there.
