Chitwan and Nepal

Nepal and Chitwan Park
16 years ago, March 19th 2008 No: 1 Msg: #30347
I am in the midst of planning a trip to Nepal and Tibet. So far I have some information from a few establishments in Chitwan Park but am unsure if these are good deals or not? Anyone have recommendations?
I know it's about a 5 hour drive from Kathmandu or that I can fly and arrive near the park. The places I have researched so far seem to offer everything from total luxury to bare essentials. I would want something in-between. Hot water would be nice. And a door to keep animals out while I sleep. I don't think I am too fond of waking up with the wildlife nuzzling my ear. I figure I would be in Chitwan for 2 nights then back to Kathmandu and then Tibet....if foreigners are allowed in.

Thanks.
