I do travel job in Thailand. Reply to this Hi Jen
6 weeks isn't enough to see all 3 countries. Thailand req 1 month, Vietnam req 1 month, Cambodia 2 weeks.
Last August I travelled around Thailand it was very wet!!! Can't speak for the other 2 countries.
1400 pounds will last you 6 weeks easily, it could last you as long as 10-12 weeks+ just deopends on what you do, how much you drink etc...
India is huge, you wouldn't see much in 6 weeks, rec 3 months if you can hack it that long.

Reply to this Hi, It will be wet....as it is the rainy season....in Vietnam, there is one place that will be dryer....if you need a break...it's Nha Trang. In Thailand, Koh Samui will be dryer than Phuket...they have different schedule of rainy seasons.
But don't be afraid...wet means often cheaper prices...less people...and only one or 2 hours of rain per day...and sunshine after, so it is actually nicer...at the end of the day...people keep their smile...and that's the best of the region!
Have fun!
