Hi, I will be traveling in Thailand this summer, June/July and im so excited!!
After traveling around Northern Thailand I would like to go to Siem Reap and possible phom phen before i head south. I was wondering the best way for me to get around. Basically looking to get from Bangkok - Siem Reap - phnum phen, From here i would like to go to the south, Krabi or phuket (which ever is easiest to get to)
Thanks

Now my question is do i have to go back to Bangkok from Siem Reap or can i get striaght from Cambodia to Krabi or Phuket?
Reply to this i think so, you should go back to Bangkok and take the over-night bus to Phuket, that's what i did~
Reply to this Hi I am Thai, I do travel job. I can arrange you and support you airticket from Bangkok --> Siem Reap --> Krabi, Phuket. There is the flight you need.
I know the best route and I can advise you a nice trip for you please contact me directly on
any airticket and cheap hotel will provide you info. :-) Reply to this hey, don't book anything before you go.
My route would be...(I have been round Thailand twice)
Bangkok - Chiang Mai, stoppping at Ayutthaya and Sukothai on the way maybe. Go to Pi if you have chnace. You can also get night train to Chain Mai from bangkok
Chiang Mai - Bangkok, night train if took bus up, or flight its cheap and saves you time.
Bangkok - Cambodia. Personally I would get flight one way and the bus back. Bangkok - Siem Rep flight. Siem Rep to Phnom Penh bus. Phnom Penh to Simoukville bus. Sinoukville to Chang Mai bus. Chang Mai to Bangkok bus.
Bangkok - Surat Thani train or bus, visit Koh Samui/Koh Pan gan/Koh Tao
then bus it over to Krabi, then boat it over to Phi Phi/Koh Lanta, then boat it over to Phuket, flight back up to bangkok
hope this helps...
You can bus it from Bangkok - Cambodia. Reccommend you stop at Koh Chang on the way.
