How to get from Ho Chin Minh City to Phom Penh?
I know there's coach, but not sure whether it is reliable? How long it take? Any other option?
How about entering Cambaodia from Vietnam? Is it easy? I heard the custom officers always ask for money, true?

Instead of taking local bus from HCMC, you can book 2 day tour to Mekong Delta. It ends in Can Tho, where you can either take local bus or express boat to Phnom Penh. There was problem in the old days, it is getting better. Hundres poeple travel by bus bwtween HCMC - PNH, if it is not reliable, it will not be allowed. You should worry about that.

I'm doing this trip next week with Sin Cafe (www.sinhcafevn.com). Its really easy you get a bus and boat to Chau Doc (with some sightseeing stops on the way) where you overnight and then get a boat direct to Phnom Penh the next day. By express boat it works out at VND 708thd (USD 45.00). Or you could go direct by bus there are departures at 6.30am and 9.00am and it takes 6 hours (VND 160THD-.USD 10.00).
Travelling around this part of the world is a lot easier that I expected.

I advise you 02 options as below:
1) you get bus from Ho Chi minh at 1200 to phnom penh at 18 00 every day ( rate: 24 usd / pax)
2) you get Express boat from Chau doc to phnom Penh. ( rate: 23 usd / pax) . It is easy to you
