Reply to this Chances are you'll be able to meet up with/attach yourself to some other backpackers when you arrive, if you want to travel in company...certainly it is wise to be cautious, but it's not impossible to travel alone I think....it's not Saudi Arabia...though it may be a bit uncomfortable.
