Where to go / what to see in Cambodia?

I will travel Cambodia by mid of Nov. 07 for 2 weeks. Can anybody give me some ideas where to go? What are the musts in Cambodia, apart from Angkor Wat?

I'm not on a low budget, but I don't want to spend too much money either.
Thanks a lot for any suggestion!

Hi Gipsy,

I was there last year Oct. Weather can be hot... so be sure to have a pair of sun glasses or a cap... Drink plenty of water. My suggestion to you is to get the 3 days pass for Angkor Wat. Then you will have ample time to travel in and out of the place as you pleased. People there are friendly... At least better than Phnom Penh... If two weeks... you may also travel down to Phnom Penh... And see the city life there. Not much except the Killing Field... and some other historical site of during Khmer Rouge Time... Enjoy your trip there... Be sure to take things slowly... 2 week surely will have enough time...

Bring more candies or writing materials there to give to children... Pen or pencil... But they like pen better... I don't give money... Reply to this

Hi Gipsy,

it's 1 week to go before u're off to Cambodia.. i've got some good tips that might help u when u're there.

If you're in Siem Reap, visit Chong Khneas floating village, which is closest to Siem Reap... i love it there. Very very unique place.
Take motodup or taxi from Siem Reap to Chong Khneas boat dock 11-15km away. It's about USD 6-10 per person for a two-hour boat trip, fitted for 15 peoples.

The next highly recommended attraction to be visited in Siem Reap perhaps is the Landmine Museum. It is also one of the world largest collection of defused mines and others ordinances.

And also Perk Toal Bird Sanctuary.. you'll be amazed by the migrating birds.. the best viewing time is dry season during the month of Dec to May.
