What do you guys think? would you change anything?
Ill be just under a month in Asia. Fly in to BKK (5 Days).Train to Chiang may (5 Days) fly on to Phuket visiting Phuket and Ko Phi Phi (5 Days), then Bus to Surat thani and ferry to Ko Samui and/or Ko Phangan (5 Days) - Train from Surat Thani to Kuala Lumpur (2 Days) - Train to Singapore (4 Days) Flight back to BKK in time for return flight to Europe

Is it too much for a month? or will I have time to fit it all in an see everything? Experiences from people that followed similar route would be apreciated.
Also will I be ok with a Spanish passport for theese 3 countries? I dont need any visas if i´m less than a month correct?

Thanks Jose!

I don't think that you need 5 days in bangkok unless you plan on getting over the jet lag.

on the islands check the monsoons you might want to spend a few more days and lop one off. they are on different sides at different times.

I would also consider a trip to Cambodia see Angkor Wat the crown jewel of Asia

I ussually find 4 days enough for a town congradulation on not trying to fit to much in and not really seeing anything.

Take the map and guide book leave them in the hotel - guesthouse and go for a walk in an interesting direction and take a cab home later.

thailand you will need to show that you have a flight out otherwise they could mess you up a bit. Reply to this

Hi,

I definatly agree 5 days in Bangkok is 2 long- 2 nights is more then enough. It depends what kind of holiday you want - if your loooking for a boozy, drunken nights, lots of drugs and women head to Phuket.Your best bet is to come down through Krabi and do a stop over there and get the ferry across. Krabi is a dump- jsut a port town but it saves time and money. I deliberalty avoided Phuket- its like Tenerife or Lanzarote- just clubs and bars. Not the real thailand. Ko Samui and Phangan are a tamer version of Phuket. Its Ko Phi Phi thats the real jewel in the crown. Its like being stranded on a desert island-absolute paradise. If you wnat to stay on the strip , stay in Tonsai Bay, if you wanna see the natives ad go spear fishing with the sea gypsies head north to Laem Thong. Remember don't over plan and if u don't like a place just head on out. U should be fine for a month-EU countries get tourist visas. Be careful at Bangkok immigration show your return flight and all your infor inc your boarding pass! Make sure you knwo where your staying for the first night- they will take note of that. Thai police bit scary, but ok just keep well away. Enjoy your trip! Reply to this
