I have about three weeks in Vietnam: flying into Hanoi, want to see the northwest, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Hue, and Saigon. Any suggestions re routes, sights, mode of transport? Also suggestions re best way to get into Cambodia and then Laos after that. Reply to this

my trip into Hanoi is 19 OCT and will be travelling the Northenr part of Viet. No specific iten yet. Searching for budget hotel... I have 10 days in Hanoi, Halong Bay,... thinking of going to Sapa. how many of you? Have you found out where to stay in Hanoi city yet...? Reply to this

I will be there before you: sept 26, and will likely be central by the time you arrive Hanoi. I've booked withe Camelia2 Hotel (on-line), $22/night and seems good. Of course will suss out other possibilities once there Reply to this

Wantting to Cambodian?
After you visit HCM.city you have 2 ways to Cambodia. The furst way you can visit Chau Doc (south of Viet Nam) then you take a boat to Cambodian from Chau Doc. The second way You can come to Cambodia from Q.1 (Pham Ngu Lao street, district 1. HCM.city). Have a good trip. If I have time and money I will join with you to Cambodia. I love visiting Angkor Wat. hi... I'm in vietnam from 11th november for nearly 3 weeks... fly into HCM.. then internal flight up to Hanoi after a couple of days, then on to Sapa.. Halong Bay.. Hue...Hoi An.. Da lat and back to HCM.. but not really got anything booked, just a vague idea of where I want to go to.
Looks like I'm going after all of you so I'll be watching this with interest so I know what to expect!!!!! Reply to this
