Anti Malarial Meds

Has anyone bought Malaria pill in Thailand or Cambodia?

I'll be travelling to Thailand, Cambodia, & Vietnam in October. I understand the need for anti-malaria medications in Cambodia. I've heard that you can buy them in pharmacies in Bangkok and in Cambodia. Has anyone done that? Any warnings? How much (USD equivalant) were they?

Thanks. Reply to this

Reckon you'll be there already now but just in case is useful to anyone else, Doxicycline is widely available (we bought tablets in Bangkok twice and Hanoi once), cheap as chips (think it worked out about 1 british pence per tablet) and we didn't have any problems at all. Just make sure they come in sealed packaging and that the pharmacy you are buying from is genuine and preferrably popular with the locals and you should be fine! Reply to this
