Need affordable health insurance while traveling Asia for 6 months. Any suggestions?
I am leaving the country in August and headed to India and other parts of Asia for 6 months. Do you all know of an affordable and beneficial health insurance carrier to cover me while I am away? I have been looking online, but they are all running together!! Ahhh. What a process this has become. All advice is welcomed. Thanks.
Reply to this I got mine from Global Travel Shield (AMEX Assurance Company) after doing a comparison search on insuremytrip.com. That website asks you specific questions about you and your trip because different conditions bring different quotes from different companies. The site breaks all of the up info clearly so that you can figure out what you need and which company offers the best for your needs. However, I don't know if it's only for U.S. citizens. I know the site is based in the U.S.
