Warmest greeting from Vietnam,
Dear Sonny ,

Hi,
Glad to hear from youI'am a good tour operator in Vietnam - Asia Pacific international travel - APT travel , if you only have 4 days to stay in Vietnam , you will not have much thing to see here. But I will suggest for you to visit a nice place also you can save your time when you are in vietnam.

The fist day when you arrive in Vietnam will visit city tour for a halfday, see waterpupet show in the evening,
Have 1 day tour to visit Halong bay ( the world heritage).
Then overnight train to visit Sapa, stay 1night in Village, enjoy the traditional life in the village.

Hi Sonny,

It is hard to tell you where to visit within 4days/ 3 nights. It seems to be too short to cover "must see" in our country. You can visit Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi or Hanoi - Sapa - Hanoi (this choose is not perfect). Hanoi and Halong possess many things to explore. You can visit www.viethometravel.com.vn for more information. From the web you can design for yourself a suitable trip. Good luck! Reply to this

It really does depend where you're flying into and out of? It also depends on what kind of experience you really want. These would be my personal tips:

If you fly into the North (Hanoi) then try a trip to Halong bay and Cat Ba Island is un-missable. Also, the 1 day tours around Tom Coc (spelt right i hope!!) are really nice.
If your down south (Saigon), then consider tours to the Mekong Delta and maybe the War tunnells are Chi Chi.

A Halong Bay tour will set you back around $40 Dollars each (for 3 days 2 nights) - And probably half that price for 2 day 1 night.
All the 1 day tours are very cheap
Chi Chi - Approx $4/5
Mekong - Approx $8
Tam Coc - Approx $10-13
City Tours - $2-5

Being honest, Vietnam needs much more time to fully appreciate its beauty and variety. With more time, I could offer you a million and 1 suggestions 😊 Consider adding more time to your stay?!? If you have a "bigger" budget, then just go full out and fly around the country taking in the sights :D

PS: Ignore the rediculous quotes form the "companies" above. You can get things done so much cheaper (and probably better) by choosing the locations you need to visit and organising little mini tours. If you really want a tour into the villages, then look at booking them independantly - this will work out much cheaper than combining them with a city/Halong tour.
Besides, a similar tour will be available from the local tour offices where you can negotaite price and itinary to suite your needs.
