Yes, I have been to the area- have visited Lake Toba twice- 2004 and 2006, Brestagi in 2006 for a weekend, Bukit Lawang in 2005 and 2006 have stayed there a total of 8 weeks. I also spent 5 wonderful days in Tangkahan last year.

Sorry I am not in the photos. I prefer not to have my photo taken. No, I am not Indonesian though I sometimes feel like I am and would love to live for at least 6 months a year one day.
I am Australian and live in Sydney. I have been coming to Indonesia since 1997 and so far have made 7 trips and am hoping on another short one in Dec this year.
