Spituk Gonpa Internet Cafe support staff needed in return for accomodation. Minimum commitment one month, 6 hours/day or night.
Internet Cafe in Leh needs IT skilled volunteer to help "run the shop" and support basic IT needs of Internet users during the peak visitor period . All the income from this Internet Cafe supports the growing Spituk (or Pethub) Gonpa (Buddhist monastery) school. The school cares for and provides broad education for young Buddhist monks (these are generally boys from underprivileged background, aged 3-17). Help is needed from mid May to mid October with minimum commitment for 1 month. The 'cafe' will be open from 8am-12am. Job-shared working hours will be flexible (within 6hours/day minimum commitment). In return accommodation will be arranged...and you will know that you are supporting a great education project.
