No, you are not an idiot. Our developer is currently working to fix a umber of issues that have been left unresolved for several years. I'm looking forward to the new version! Reply to this

Welcome to travelblog! The link to blurb.com is indeed broken. Travelblog used to have an arrangement that when someone started a book, Travelblog would get a fee for the referral, which helps pay for running Travelblog. That arrangement appears to have expired and the link no longer works. I recommend starting at the main site: https://www.blurb.com Reply to this

I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to how to download my blog to start the editing process and if blurb is a good place to do blog to book.

Welcome to Travelblog. To download blogs, go to your Control Panel, open the Utilities tab, and select 'Blog Backup'. Select a year from the top header. This will produce a page of all blogs and photos from that year as a single huge webpage. The formatting is not very pretty; each blog is a blob of text with the photos at the end between it and the next blog. Right click and save as "webpage complete". This can be opened in a HTML aware text editor and reformatted as needed. There are also utilities out there that can convert the HTML to other formats, but I have not used any of them.
