Hi, about country I can give U a lot of information, what exactly do U want ?
About road - there are not so many cars, so it rather easy to move.
Have U decided what places to visit ? If not see here photos of Vietnam and choose =)

You are Travelling Northern Vietnam in November? Are you aware of the weather conditions. Pretty cold. Please give me some more info as to the routes you are taking.
I am now living in Saigon and have been on a bike tour through the South up to Hoi An. The roads are very narrow as Mostly motorbikes are used. It was absolutely beautiful going through the highlands of Dalat but huge buses roaring past scared the heck out of me and will not be doing it again because it was so dangerous. Let me know what route and see

The route I will be cycling will be starting in Hanoi to Hao Binh to Mai Chau then 2nd day onto Moc Chau, onwards 3rd day Son La onto Tuan Giao from there onwards to Dien Bien, next we will hit Dien Bien Phu from there onto Muong Lay. On the ninth day we head from Muong Lay to Tam Duong and on day ten from Tam Duong to Supa and from there back to Hanoi.

Any details of roads and how bad the climb will be !! Also sights to see on Route what to expect weather wise in November and any hints will be greatly appreciated.

Also to recover will hope to spend a couple of days in Hanoi again places of interest . Reply to this

Hi
The wearther in North of Vietnam in November is cold, sometimes so cold, special in the mountain area as Sapa...
About Visa to Lao and cambodia, you can make them in their embassy in Vietnam before, one day for one visa, but you'll have to make visa re-entry Vietnam for each back time.

Easy to visit Cambodia and Lao as visas can be purchased at the border. The problem lies in the return trip to Vietnam. You cannot purchase an entry visa at the border. You need to be on a multiple entry vietnam visa. see
