It's not only social media platforms that are blocked but a majority of Western apps with social elements (WhatsApp is blocked too).

Easiest way to get around the Great Firewall of China is to purchase a reliable VPN. I'd recommend ExpressVPN or Astrill, as those are the most popular options among expats in China. Reply to this
