I am IT expert but I don't know how to paste my pic in here, so I paste the hypderlink.

This weekend I was in the former Prussian fortress town of Koblenz at the rhine river and among other things I have visited Basilika Sankt Kastor which is mentionned in the lonely planet travel guide. I think first basilika here was in 7th century and this one is from 12th.

Dancing Dave made a comment to my blog and suggested to post it here.

I made many more pics as churches are very often the center of christian towns and I also was in Morocco for example. Maybe I search for a few more in my blog like the grand mosque of Casablanca.

When you click on your photo to enlarge it, copy the photo number in square brackets which is to RH side. Then paste on the subject thread and voila!

Here is a link to the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca. As I said, I have no clue how to paste the pic. I don't see any option.

Here you see a photo of a nice and small church in northwest Iceland. The weather was really great that week.

And "photo" is really case sensitive. This is really a bad programming language.

Here you see a photo of my journey 2016 to the Nordics. A famous church village in the north of Sweden. Again with nice weather in the summer.

This is a nice and small chapel high on a mountain in the Bavarian Alpes. Altitude nearly 2000 meters. There is a nice railway up that mountain.

In this chapel on Hohenzollern castle in Germany had been the remains of famous prussian kings until they have been moved to Potsdam after the reunification.

I also have a synagoge. This is the old one in Worms. Worms was a very important german city in the medieval days with an early jewish population.

One last: Fountains Abbey near beautiful York in England.

@Dancing Dave: I saw on your blog map, that you haven't been to Europe which is really strange for such an experienced traveller. You should absolutely come to our wonderful continent.
