I found some beaches in Southeast Asia, look soooo beautiful in photos. I really want to be there, but don't know the quality yet. Have you guys ever been there? Give me some advices please.

1, Kohrong Island in Cambodia. In some pics, it's like a heaven, but photos from the website are no so beautiful. Some say there's no electricity there.
2, Monkey Island Resort in Cat Ba, Viet Nam. I read on Tripadvisor, good things 75%! (MISSING)
3, Krabi in Thailand. Only exists some clues about rooms reservation in Agoda.Nothing more.
Please give me some advices if you know about it!

I can only comment on #3 Krabi. This is a town inland where the airport is located...it's an inexpensive flight from Bangkok. The actual beaches are Ao Nang and Railey which is accessible only by boat. I stayed at Railey which has a reputation as being a bit more expensive that what backpackers can afford. However, Pranang Beach on the west side of the peninsula is outstanding. I suggest that you look at the blogs that TBers have posted for each of these locations by clicking on Asia, then the country, then province/region, and finally the city. All blogs related to that city will be listed. Reply to this

I’ve been to Monkey Island Resort and really recommend this beach. It’s 15 mins from the main land (Cat Ba Island) by a small boat & located on Lan Ha Bay. The beach is so beautiful and fresh. There’re about 30 wooden huts on the island , the traditional restaurant is at the center. I came here as a part of 3 days Halong bay – Cat Ba Island tour and really enjoyed it! Reply to this

In Southeast Asia, we did enjoy our holiday in Pataya beach (Thailand) and Cat Ba Island (Vietnam). Both of them were beautiful and peaceful. We stayed at Sabai resort in Pattaya and Monkey Island Resort in Cat Ba Island. In comparision, Sabai was a morden designed resort, while the other one was made of wood and traditionally oriented.....
