need to end the trip in Boracay, so don't want to venture away TOO far, but also want to see gems of the Philippines. Worried about the weather during this season and how this will affect us...

Hi!

I'm returning to the Philippines in late July/early August for 2 weeks.
I went a few years ago, for a month and a half starting in Bohol and travelling north, ending in Boracay.

We need to end our trip in Boracay, because our returning flights are from there. With only 2 weeks, we don't want it to be a backpacking trip in particular, we'd like a lot of down time on beaches/ exploring with a little bit of island hopping.

I'm going with my SO and 2 best friends, who haven't been before, and I want to show them the most beautiful parts of the Philippines, I'd also like to visit some of the gems I didn’t get to go to before.
I’d really like to get to Palawan, and also to swim with whale sharks.

However, I am really conscious of the weather during this time, and this is the biggest thing that is concerning me. I don’t want to get stranded anywhere due the weather, unable to get to Boracay to get back home. Is this really likely to be a problem though?
What islands are least effected by typhoons/storms during this time?
What can I simply not miss this time round?

Any suggestions/ advice would be greatly appreciated, thankyou! Reply to this
