Hi,
I travel to Nepal in November and I am going to stay just over 1 month as I am attending a course there. I was just going to get a 1 month visa on arrival at KMD airport and then immediately go to immigration office for a 15 day extension. Is it easy to get an extension? Is it an in and out affair or do I have to leave my passport and collect later??
My other option is to just get 3 month visa on arrival for 100$, but as I am just there over 1 month it would be bit cheaper to get 1 month on arrival 40$ and then extend for 30$. If it is a difficult process I would just get 3 months in first place.....ideas???
Reply to this From which Country do you belong. Visa Extension shouldn't be a problem in Nepal.
Reply to this Yes, extension for your visa in Nepal shouldn't be a problem, although go and visit the embassy as soon as you reach.
Reply to this No problems in extension, I visited Nepal last year and got my visa extended; had no issues.
