daraja also has some great photos (especially of animals and interesting work in Africa) despite the fact that I can't understand most of her blogs because of the language barrier. She even has a photo of the wild armoured ground cricket in
und bereits ist maerz... / it is already march.... as well as other interesting creatures. I'd recommend checking out some of her earlier blogs, too.

The Dawning of a Grander Day Fascinating to read about this part of a country that is itself well off the beaten track. I also think the photos are fantastic. It's dated February but posted March, so I figure it counts!

I think both of the blogs mentioned above are great recommends. Definitely some of my favorites this month in terms of writing and experience and eye-opening honesty.
Reply to this I agree wholeheartedly. One of the many reasons I enjoy reading blogs is learning new things. This blog certainly opened my eyes. Well written and very easy to read.
