Hello Roselle and welcome to Travelblog!

Amazing can be taken many ways, but if I restrict it to places of natural beauty, then the most amazing place I have seen is Wadi Rum in Jordan.

If I had to use the word amazing to describe a city, then I probably would rate Sana'a in Yemen as the most deserving of this title. Reply to this

Welcome to TravelBlog Roselle.

I think this is a purely subjective question. For some 'amazing' would be defined as spending two weeks on a dreary resort, spending each and every night surrounded by dunka dunka music, alcoholic beverages and projectile vomiting.

As far as going down the road of places to visit, for me, not much can beat the vista of the Himalayas at sunset, the magnificence of the Pyramids at Giza or the wonders of the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Reply to this

oh i agree...a difficult question to answer. Amazing... i immediatly thought of the carribean with fantastic food, people, landscape, culture, rum shacks, relaxed feeling etc etc.... it is the place i would probably try to move to if i won millions of dollars in lotto 😊

But if you had to visit one place in the world for a tourist destination...i'd either go Rome with the history, buildings/ruins, food, religion and the Vatican.....
or New Orleans USA with amazing food, drinks, music, architecture, spanish moss, voodoo, above ground cemetaries, alligators...just sooo much different stuff all in one city.

so interesting to read everyones ideas of what theyve loved etc

I can suggest to you our country, The Republic of the Philippines. It's an archipelago being surrounded with different bodies of water and mountain ranges from Asia.

i think you should travel to malaysia ,Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage is apparent. Besides this, Malaysia boasts of fine beaches with crystal clear waters, the world's oldest tropical rainforest, spectacular cave systems and the tallest twin towers in the world.

Accommodation is available ranging from budget to 5-star hotels, serviced apartments, bed and breakfast and chalets by the beach. With some of the best and most reasonable accommodation anywhere in the world, you will be able to find something that meets with your needs and requirements.

Visiting Malaysia is a gastronomic experience. With the diversity of races living here, as well as the number of expatriates and foreign visitors, many varieties of foods including Malay, Chinese, Indian, European, Arabian, Asian and many others can be found.

South-East Asia has some of the most famous tourist destinations in the world. Singapore and Malaysia are among the most well-known places in the region. They draw tourists from all parts of the world. This region is known for its beautiful coastal areas, historical places and culture. These countries offer modern facilities with their world-class hotels and resorts. Singapore and Malaysia are also known for their cruises and shopping festivals.

the more we travel the less i'm able to name just one amazing country...but i think australia is pretty amazing in terms of the diversity of people, dramatic landscapes, distinct seasons, multiple climatic zones, and brilliant food and culture - it really is a fantastic place to live and travel in. however if i had to name just one place/city, i would say florence. Hello guys

Every human being probably dreams of visiting at least one of those places in their lifetime. Living in modern cities with high-rise buildings, we tend to miss out on what Mother Nature has to offer as well as some of the most incredible man made structures built throughout the course of history. My best place is Switzerland. This is a beautiful country in the world map. Can you give some beautiful travel place to visit in winter?

Thanks in advance

As a Hungarian-American, I would have to say Hungary, naturally, especially Budapest and its inner city and the old Jewish Quarter.

Here's a good resource if you ever decide on visiting:

I was in Egypt last year, took a 4 day cruise on the Nile and that was amazing, I highly recommend that, too.

And of course I can't leave out my second home town, Sarasota, Florida which has the worlds whitest beach, with the finest sand.

Single...Antarctica...beats everything else...

Nature...and underwater...so far for me ...Galapagos...

Shopping....New York...

Food...just hop on a round-the-world...

Romance...well...depend of the quality of the company...but places like Maldives, Venice and a serious safari beats all the odds... Reply to this

My travel experience has been limited to 3 continents, but I wouldn't trade the time I have spent in Cambodia for anything. Cambodia is my favorite because it still falls into just enough into obscurity that I'm guaranteed a unique experience. Angkor Wat in the north of the country is still the most breathtaking location I have visited. I'm quite in love with southeast Asia but the people of Cambodia don't seem to be spoiled by tourism based greed yet, unlike Thailand or Vietnam which I would also recommend visiting. You just need to spend a little bit of time in the right places in the country to see how amazing of a place it is. Look into; Sihanoukville, Kampot, Siem Reap(home of Angkor Wat) and parts of the capital Phnom Penh.

I've been staying on the rooftop of 1up hotel in the Bkk1 area of Phnom Penh (the "Foreigner" district) for a few months now and even late at night I feel safer than I did back home in Los Angeles during the daytime. I enjoy the nightlife scene here, you can go to Equinox, Top Banana, Score, Zeppelin, Love Bar, Absinthe Bar or later on the dance clubs and meet scores of great expats and travelers all in a small area. Transport around never costs me more than 2 bucks.

That said, I want to warn you to do some research before coming here, if you end up in Phnom Penh Cambodia, the tourism industry will push you towards the Riverside, which is nice in the day time but after sunset it can leave an impression of sleaziness on the not-so-knowledgeable traveler. This is a classic question that can have endless answers. It's interesting too how one person can have a miserable experience in a location and then the next can have the best they've ever had.

All I can do is share my personal favorites:

Major Cities: Paris, and Shanghai.

Getting back to nature: 1. An island chain in Panama called Bocas Del Torro. 2. Lake Toba and Gunung Leuser Nat'l Park on the island of Sumatra. 3. The surrounding areas of Yangshuo, China.

My home country: 1. Denver/Boulder and Rocky Mountain National Park. 2. New York City. 3. Florida's Everglades and keys.

Its not a country its a state.

Alaska especially Denali National Park in June is an outdoor paradise. Best yet you have 24 hours of day light to do as much as possible. Reply to this
