25 days in South-East Asia

Looking for some travel advice for a 25 day tour of Thailand, Laos and possibly Cambodia.
12 years ago, April 17th 2012 No: 1 Msg: #154882
Myself and 2 friends, early 20s, are arriving from Sydney to Bangkok early September and have 10 days to see some of the southern islands before one of the guys has to be back in Bangkok to fly home. After that myself and one other are planning on heading to Laos and then have no plans before we have to fly home from Bangkok 15 days later. We are a young crowd looking to experience the night life of Thailand ans South East Asia and also potentially see some of the sights and wildlife as our trip comes to an end.

Looking for some suggestions on the best route to take, and which islands to visit, when we travel south from Bangkok initially and then for any other tips on where to visit near the end. Would it be too ambitious to attempt to visit Samui, Phangan and Phi Phi in such a short time and are we better sticking to the East OR Western isles? Reply to this
