Hello friends,
I am going to Indonesia for five weeks in March/April - but have no idea where to go. There is far too much choice! As it is only five weeks, I do not want to be traveling around loads and I don't want to fly too much , In terms of sight, I had like to do some snorkeling, and possibly diving, check out some jungle areas and volcanoes. Oh, and see a Komodo Dragon.
So... any suggestions?
Thanks!

Reply to this Where will you be entering Indonesia from Montana? Do you want cities and nightlife - if so go to Bali - or nature. If your entry point is say Denpassar I would think you would have enough time to have a couple of days wandering around Bali doing shopping and touristy things before heading over to the nearby islands - lembongan and the gilis before heading onto flores and komodo. I would then suggest heading north to Sulawesi if you are into diving and volcanos. Sumatra is also lovely and there are some great blogs coming from Sumatra at the moment. Also depends on your budget..there is always the option of a liveaboard from Bali onwards to komodo and flores then up to sulawesi and west papua if money is not an object.
