We have a 14 hour connection in Delhi on our next Thailand trip. I'd like to take the girls into the city for the day & see some of the places I explored in my youth. Is it possible for UK passport holders to get a transit visa on arrival these days or do I have to jump through the hoops of the Indian High Commission like we used to have to do 20 years ago? The IHC website isn't very helpful. Any help appretiated.
