Have you had coffee or tea in your travels. What does it look like? How did it taste or compare to your favorite? Was it served in a lovely vessel?

Some day I would like to become a barista so I can learn to make creative images in coffee foam. I think I would enjoy that. Reply to this

I lived in England for 10 years and never got used to the sugary milky tea they drink there, however, I love tea cosies (not sure about the spelling!)

Perhaps I am not as exotic as some, but I always enjoyed a doily under my coffee cup in first-class on the trains in Europe; we simply don't use doilies enough here in the U.S. My favorite coffee memory is sipping a cup a night in Vienna--something about the ambiance of that night has stayed with me. Monique, I'd forgotten about doily's. Yes they certainly add that special touch to a cup of coffee or tea.
Thanks for the memory. Reply to this
