Reply to this I lived in England for 10 years and never got used to the sugary milky tea they drink there, however, I love tea cosies (not sure about the spelling!)
Reply to this Perhaps I am not as exotic as some, but I always enjoyed a doily under my coffee cup in first-class on the trains in Europe; we simply don't use doilies enough here in the U.S. My favorite coffee memory is sipping a cup a night in Vienna--something about the ambiance of that night has stayed with me.
